Dhananjay Foods began in 1960 in the cool hill town of Panchgani, near Mahabaleshwar. Founders Late Shri Vithal Maruti Pardeshi and his wife created healthy roasted grams, or “Chanaz,” known as the “Almonds of the Common People.” Their sons, Nandkumar and Dhananjay, continued the legacy, expanding the range and introducing Groundnut-Jaggery Chikki. Today, the third generation—Swapnil, Swapnesh, and Swadesh—leads the brand. They launched modern, tourist-friendly packaging branded “Remembrance of Panchgani.” With new snacks like Makhanaz, Chikkiz, and Fudgez, Dhananjay Foods now runs 11 outlets across Maharashtra, offering hygienic, high-quality products that celebrate tradition and innovation.
